The park provides lake activities and hiking opportunities, vacation cabins, golfing, and restaurants in West Virginia’s Eastern Panhandle.

Lodge
Cacapon Resort State Park’s 48-room lodge is situated on the east side of Cacapon Mountain and overlooks the wide expanse of the Robert Trent Jones, Sr. golf course.
Biking
Test your bike against challenging single-track paths. Mountain switchbacks and varied terrain reward you with stirring, sky-high wilderness views.
Fishing
Cacapon Resort State Park has two small lakes for fishing. Both are stocked with trout each spring, but bass, catfish and bluegill can also be caught.
Hiking
You can’t get bored at Cacapon when there’s 23 miles for hiking on 9 different trails waiting to be explored. No need to worry about getting lost, as hiking guides are available at the park office. Each trail offers a different physical challenge depending on skill levels, so there’s something for everyone.
