Mead, or honey wine, is widely accepted to be the oldest form of alcohol. Like the idea of dragons, and their fondness for maidens, mead seems to have been created independently by different cultures all around the world.  Mountain Dragon Mazery brings these ancient archetypes into the modern age, producing delightfully flavorful wines.

They offer eight different types of meads, made exclusively from West Virginia Honey and other premium all natural ingredients.  They don’t add sulfites, preservatives, clarifiers, or other chemical tomfoolery. All of their meads are craft fermented in traditional small batch glassware to protect these delicious flavors.


Tours and tastings are available during regular hours from 3 to 8PM every Thursday and Friday, or any time by appointment.  If you don’t get the chance to stop by, check out their retail map on their website. They also ship to over 40 US states.
